Graduation Ceremony

Vietnamese Graduation is a cultural graduation celebration that recognizes the academic achievements of the graduating Vietnamese American student population at UCI. The ceremony will honor aspects of the traditional Vietnamese heritage through bilingual speakers, cultural entertainment performances, and a formal Graduate recognition ceremony. We hope to recruit Vietnamese students from all academic disciplines to participate in this annual tradition, and we also invite students who are interested in the Vietnamese culture to participate as well!

Time: 5pm to 9pm
Check-in: 5pm - 6pm
Ceremony: 6pm - 8pm
Reception: 8pm - 9pm
Location: Pacific Ballroom in Student Center
All guests of graduates are welcome!

The application for all you seniors to attend VGRAD is finally here!
We're holding a special intimate ceremony for all 2014 graduates interested in the Vietnamese heritage this June 6th, 2014! This is to celebrate your academic achievement and personal growth here at the University of California, Irvine. In the presence of their invited guests, all graduates will be given the opportunity to give a personal speech on stage, and then accorded a stole from VGRAD. There will be a reception afterwards.
